BounceBit Raises $6M In Seed Funding Round To Build Bitcoin Restaking Infrastructure
BounceBit, an innovative platform in the field of BTC Restaking, has reached a significant milestone by successfully concluding a $6 million funding round. The investment, spearheaded by renowned venture capital firms Blockchain Capital and Breyer Capital, signifies a crucial moment for BounceBit as it prepares to transform BTC Restaking infrastructure.
Ted Breyer, Partner at Breyer Capital, expressed enthusiasm in leading the seed round for BounceBit, underscoring the platform's potential to redefine BTC Restaking and generate yields. Aleks Larsen, General Partner at Blockchain Capital, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the opportunity to introduce DeFi innovations to the Bitcoin community through BTC restaking.
The funding round also witnessed the participation of a diverse group of investors, including dao5, CMS Holdings, Bankless Ventures, NGC Ventures, and others. Prominent angel investors like Nathan from Anchorage Digital, Calvin and Jessy from Eigenlayer, and Kevin and Ashwin from Brevan Howard have also played a significant role in the success of the funding round.

Just three weeks after its Early Access launch, BounceBit has accumulated a Total Value Locked (TVL) of $445 million, demonstrating substantial market interest and demand.
At the core of BounceBit's innovation is its BTC Restaking mechanism, which serves as the cornerstone of the project. Through its Shared-Security Clients (SSC) infrastructure components, BounceBit aims to explore the potential applications of Restaking for different types of Bitcoin.
