Gitec Conference 2024

 

Dedicated to advancing professional development and fostering collaboration, the Government Information Technology Executive Council (GITEC) Conference brings together key stakeholders from the Federal government, academia, and industry. Stemming from a White House memorandum in 1966, GITEC was established to facilitate dialogue among Senior Level Government and Industry Executives on Information Technology (IT) matters. The merger with the Advanced Technology & Academic Research Center (ATARC) in 2018 further solidified GITEC's role as a hub for collaboration. As the Federal Government navigates a landscape marked by constant change, the importance of collaboration cannot be overstated. Through collective action, government agencies can combine their strengths, share best practices, and address complex challenges, ensuring a cohesive and effective response to the nation's evolving needs.
