Patlytics Secures $4.5 Million Led By Gradient, Googles AI-Fund, To Transform Patent Intelligence With AI

Patlytics, an AI-driven patent workflow platform, recently announced a successful seed funding round of $4.5 million, with Gradient, Google's AI-focused venture fund, leading the investment. Joining Gradient are prominent investors such as 8VC, Joe Montana’s Liquid 2 Ventures, Tribe Capital, Vermilion Ventures, Gaingels, Alumni Ventures, Position Ventures, and undisclosed angel investors, including partners from prestigious law firms and Datadog President Amit Agarwal.

Differentiating itself from traditional methods reliant on manual input, Patlytics' platform automates critical patent processes like initial drafting, office action responses, infringement evaluation, advanced search, and competitor intelligence. Rather than displacing patent professionals, the platform aims to enhance their capabilities.

Paul Lee, Co-founder and CEO of Patlytics, emphasized the transformative potential of AI in the patent intelligence sector. He stressed the platform's role as a valuable tool for patent professionals, leveraging AI to navigate the complexities of the patent lifecycle effectively.

Darian Shirazi, General Partner at Gradient, highlighted the continued importance of intellectual property protection across industries, especially with the integration of AI in product development. He expressed enthusiasm for partnering with Patlytics to redefine IP protection through AI-driven innovation.

Arthur Jen, Co-founder and CTO of Patlytics, highlighted the platform's focus on efficiency, insights, and data security. By collaborating with Fortune 500 companies, top law firms, and other partners, Patlytics aims to revolutionize IP protection while prioritizing privacy throughout the patent lifecycle.
